Photo Contest 2021

We received over 2,500 beautiful submissions throughout the month of October across six categories: Her Life, A Hard Day’s Work, Healthy Living, Eco-friendly, Joyful Learning and Art, Culture & Festivals.

Three winners from each category were selected by our esteemed panel of judges (listed below).

But we also asked YOU which photos you liked best – for a People’s Choice category. Public voting channels were open for five days. Yes, there was some overlap of the judges’ winners and your winners!

All the winners and finalists of the Village Vibe photo contest are on display at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi from November 19 to December 5.

Do go and have a look to see the printed photos in all their glory.

And, if you can’t make it to Delhi, then click on the categories below to see the shortlist and the winners – all stunning photographs that tap into rural India’s village vibe.
