Asia’s largest tulip garden and its 17 lakh blooms

Nestled in the foothills of Zabarwan, Asia’s largest tulip garden emerges as a radiant tapestry of colors. With 1.7 million tulips poised to bloom, the garden beckons visitors to witness its breathtaking beauty. Tourists throng the valley during spring time and share their perspective. An additional 2 lakh tulip bulbs were added this year to give the garden a rainbow of tulip blossoms.  

Behind this natural masterpiece lies the unwavering dedication of gardeners like Ghulam Mohammad Wani who tends to each tulip with care, nurturing them from bulb to blossom. As the gardeners meticulously weed and prepare, anticipation mounts for the grand unveiling of nature’s splendor. This season the garden welcomes five new tulip varieties, adding to the 68 existing varieties. 

Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, Commissioner Secretary of Floriculture, shares the excitement as the garden welcomes five new tulip varieties, enriching the tapestry of hues. Amidst the vibrant blooms, the garden exudes a serene charm, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its tranquil oasis.
